戶外灰塵飛揚，日積月累會在護欄表面形成一層浮塵，這不僅影響色澤，灰塵中的酸性物質還可能破壞保護膜。建議定期用柔軟的純棉針織布擦拭護欄表面，對于浮雕紋飾或凹陷處的灰塵，可以用細軟的羊毛刷清理。特別提醒，如果遇到大霧或雨天，雨停后應及時用干棉布把護欄上的水珠擦干。因為我國大部分地區存在酸雨現象，雨水殘留會加速漆面腐蝕，及時擦干是成本最低的防銹手段。

Outdoor dust can fly and accumulate over time, forming a layer of floating dust on the surface of the guardrail. This not only affects the color, but the acidic substances in the dust may also damage the protective film. It is recommended to regularly wipe the surface of the guardrail with a soft pure cotton knitted cloth. For dust on relief patterns or depressions, a fine and soft wool brush can be used to clean them. Special reminder: If encountering heavy fog or rainy weather, the water droplets on the guardrail should be wiped dry with a dry cotton cloth in a timely manner after the rain stops. Due to acid rain in most parts of our country, residual rainwater can accelerate paint corrosion. Timely drying is the lowest cost rust prevention method.

2. 遠離酸堿，避免化學腐蝕

酸堿物質是鐵藝護欄的“頭號殺手”。如果在日常生活中，護欄不慎沾上了酸（如硫酸、食醋）或堿（如肥皂水、蘇打水、裝修用的涂料稀釋劑等），應立即用清水把污處沖洗干凈，再用干布擦干。在庭院除草或清潔時，也要注意避免殺蟲劑、強酸強堿清潔劑直接噴濺到護欄上。

If the guardrail accidentally comes into contact with acid (such as sulfuric acid, vinegar) or alkali (such as soapy water, soda water, paint thinner for decoration, etc.) in daily life, it should be immediately rinsed clean with water and wiped dry with a dry cloth. When weeding or cleaning in the courtyard, it is also important to avoid direct spraying of insecticides and strong acid and alkali cleaning agents onto the guardrails.

3. 科學除銹，切勿暴力打磨

如果護欄局部出現了較小的銹跡，千萬不要自作主張用砂紙暴力打磨，這樣會破壞周邊完好的漆面，導致生銹面積擴大。正確的做法是：用棉紗蘸取少許機油涂在銹跡處，稍候片刻，讓機油滲透軟化銹層，再用布反復揩擦即可消除。如果銹跡已經擴大變重，或者漆面出現大面積脫落，建議請專業的技術人員來進行除銹和重新噴漆修復。

If there are small rust marks on the guardrail, do not use sandpaper to polish it violently on your own, as this will damage the surrounding intact paint surface and cause the rust area to expand. The correct approach is to dip cotton yarn in a small amount of engine oil and apply it to the rust area. Wait for a moment, let the engine oil penetrate and soften the rust layer, and then repeatedly wipe it with a cloth to eliminate it. If the rust has expanded and become heavier, or if there is a large area of peeling off on the paint surface, it is recommended to hire professional technicians to carry out rust removal and repainting repair.

4. 定期檢查，加固連接點

鐵藝護欄常年經受風吹日曬，建議每隔半年或一年，對護欄進行一次全面“體檢”。重點檢查焊接點是否有開裂跡象，固定螺絲或膨脹螺栓是否松動。特別是在臺風或暴雨多發季節過后，及時加固松動的部件，能有效消除安全隱患，確保護欄的結構始終穩固如初。只要用心呵護，鐵藝護欄完全可以做到二十年光亮如新。
